Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated
The Office of Infrastructure Canada is responsible for the oversight of Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated (JCCBI), a Crown Corporation with the mandate to operate and maintain several federal structures in the region of Montréal. These structures are important to both local and regional users, as well as to national and international supply chains.
Operating at arm's-length from the government, JCCBI is responsible for the management of its own business activities and corporate affairs. However, JCCBI is required to report to Parliament on its operations, finances, and other important issues, and does so through the Minister of Infrastructure and Communities.
